Nhemamusasa refers to the construction of a temporary shelter in the forest during hunting or times of war. It is one of the oldest songs in the mbira repertoire. Nhemamusasa is one of the first songs which mbira players learn and has many variations.

Student Materials: Bring your Nyamaropa G tuning mbira, some may be available if you cannot bring your own.
